Nose - Heavy cherry notes, orange zest, oak, molasses, vanilla. 

This is a whisky you want to take your time with. It has a great nose and you can tell this is a well made, high quality bourbon that will delight you if you are patient.

Palate - The cherry note comes through, front and center. It’s brash and bold. It drinks a bit hot so this is not a beginner whiskey. 

It’s got a touch of chocolate, some baking spices and a lllooonnnggg finish.

A splash of water really sweetens up the palate and tones down the spice. 

If you can get your hands on this and are a fan of higher proof, complex whiskies, it’s a must try.
